you need to make missions for the non grinding non crafting folk to make dappers. make mission that people enjoy....

2. boss hunt misison.

5. help comrade gain some dings mission.
6. manipulate share prices mission.
7. find secret qutari investor mission.

hmmm... Some of those are pretty easy, so they shouldn't be worth a lot, but others look interesting.

1. Time consuming but not that hard once one has done it a few times. Moderate reward.
2. I presume this would be judged on the number of bosses slain in a given time period or just on number of bosses? (I.e. there are two-boss missions, four-boss, etc. and options for true bosses vs. Named).
3. Had a little trouble with this one. Boss hunt without using tp's?
4. Really really easy -- great for low levels to get to know people, but should probably have a level *cap* on it.
5. Nice idea, but I wonder if it is at all possible to actually implement.
6. It would seem to me that this would be more for the super-digger...
7. All you need to...

can make some special Nameds/Bosses that don't drop any Mats and only Dappers and they can (but I really think that Bandits should drop Dappers and/or some of their Gears)

maybe a RL Dragon with lots and lots of Dappers and can be just like the NPCs/Snowman Bosses...and it's Guards can be just like the Atysmas Trees or something but still Dragons just smaller than the Boss...Named Dragons maybe with some Stories about each one of them - and if there is Dragon Mats (like Scales, Tongue, Teeth) then they can be like super mats or something just like KL

Haven't you heard about the dragon? There already is one on Atys. Our ex-guildleader, Rael, is deep down in the roots searching for him. We'll have to hear when he comes back. Or he has found the dragon and therefore can't come back.

I'm very well aware of that. Digging, but also burning everything down with the wretched fires you use everywhere, hoping flame will bring forth the dragon. I for one hope it will not emerge, as I find we have enough issues with kitins and Suboxides as is (yes, I've included the fact that subro no longer is here in my calculations for issue).

so it's offical? subox didn't re sub any of his toons? that's a shame, i always liked to read what he had to say, and had the pleasure of seeing him a time our two in game, i'll miss his posts, even though they were more often not of the same point of view, but i guess that's the luck we have with some of the things that's happened in the last 6 months.

Sorry, might have read as if I was pointing that out to you. I was actually ageeing with you that there was a Dragon and pointing other people to lore regarding it. :o)

Some of the lore surrounding the Dragon kind of reminds me of the Wurm of the World's End from the Thomas Covenant books.

1. world trek mission.
Visit 3 continents in 90 minutes (a timer that would be both challenging but not downright impossible if you need to take detours) without incurring DP or using pacts. Maybe make it a dual mission, from both the sergeant and kami/kara, so as to get daps *and* some nice fame. Maybe spice it up and require the player to target a number of different critters along the way. This would also encourage grouping, I think ..
