Dear Players,

After twelve eventful months, the year 2012 ends on a positive note and with great celebrations. As of the beginning of this year, the whole Ryzom Team sends you its best wishes. 

May 2013 brings you hapiness, health and success, as well as realization of your dearest wishes!

For Ryzom, 2012 was the year of merging the servers and their communities. This merge, beyond the encountered problems, gave your beloved game the means to remain substainable, and nothing is more important than that. Of course, not everything is yet perfect, small adjustments are still needed, some tools need to be turned on... But most of the work is complete and in early 2013, Ryzom can arise from its box and look at the horizon, ready to make you dream again...

Specifically, here are the projects for the first quarter:

Development and Gameplay

- Priority will be given to bug fixes and rebalancing, so that you can experience the game at its best.
- Rybambel application will be reactivated, allowing you to again decorate your apartment, invite homins and receive packages from Rybambel deliverymen.
- New roleplay-oriented tags are coming.
- The new Encyclopedia will gradually be implemented. Upon completion it will fully replace the old one.

Roleplay and Animation

- A joint calendar for all communities has been activated, with automatic event display for your chosen language.
- The title managment application is prepared and titles will be added back gradually.
- Atys history is relaunched with the reopening of the national assemblies. Various events are planned to follow.

Communication

- In order to improve communication between communities, official forums will be rearranged with new multilanguage sections.
- Official news will be brief but more frequent and precise, as to allow better reactivity on our side. Notably more details are coming regarding the above projects. Overall we will do our best to keep you informed about what is going on.

I'm doing encyclopedia Missions now - wil I have to re-do them when the new encyclopedia replaces the old one?

I'm doing encyclopedia Missions now - will I have to re-do them when the new encyclopedia replaces the old one?

Still waiting for an answer on this one and I would really like to know. I've already lost what I did before the server Merge.

Also the old encyclopedia was never finished (not all missions were ever written) - will the new one be complete, or will it just fill in the blanks? (Reading between the lines the new on will be totally new - is that correct?)
