IDEAS FOR RYZOM

so like a little checkbox for at the bottom of the Crafting Screen that will be unchecked by default but will stay checked until you uncheck for it - while it is checked then you will automatically drop whatever it is that you are/have Crafted

Imagine, Muffin, the chagrin of someone who turned the Drop action on for grinding and was then asked to make a high-level (armor/weapon/jewel) for a friend. She takes the mats, selects the plan, gets success! And the object vanishes.

It just is not that difficult to place the Take/Drop window and the Crafting window so that the desired take/drop action button overlaps the Create Item button in the crafting window. Voila, click, doubleclick, doubleclick, etc. That's how I do it for Taking the item.

but what if it turned back to the default everytime you close/open the Crafting Screen?

#4 [en]

That would solve my first (and horrifying) scenario. However, it does not respond to my observation that it is trivial to get the same functionality with only an (un-moving) mouseclick. I cannot see this as being worth any investment in developers' time when there are so many more important things to fix.

well it takes solong for that second window to show so I was just thinking that this would can make it less laggy for me

#6 [en]

Is that delay from the time you click the craft button or the time it finishes the craft action (progress bar at the top of your screen if you have set them to be visible)? It takes about five seconds to actually do the craft action.

If there is more delay (due to a slow connection perhaps?) then that delay would also be present if there were a "drop" button in the craft window, since the state of that button would need to be polled by the server in order to make sure that you hadn't changed it since the last craft. This would take about the same amount of time as the appearance of the Take/Drop window.
