how about some points for the Km traveled by a player, keep it simple, say 5 points every 5km traveled.

maybe have a title that would come with say a million Km, globe trotter, world roamer, could come at say 10 million, and so on, lolx

I'm all for anything which players can earn a new Title, but:

- What points? Civ points? Faction Points? Fame Points? PvP Points? A new kind of Points that count only towards this Title?

- It does not necessarily reward exploration because you could clock up a million kilometres without ever leaving Silan, given enough time

- I presume distances travelled by TP would not count

How about a Title for any player who collects all TPs of their faction? As achievements go it's up there; it's hard to do so it should have some recognition.

...also what about collecting all from not a factions (just like for all of ithem Neutrals TPs)

Yes, just yobo points, and a million was just a good round number, and correct, no credit for tp distance or portals . Again it's just an idea.

OK Yubo points makes sense.

Neutrals can only collect Neutral TPs so I would class that as a faction like Kami & Karavan.

I voted yes for the TP collecting one....but I think that for the Factional TPs should all have to be held in the Bag/Mount/Apartments (owned) before getting the final Achievements...like the all-encompassing Achievement for each (Kami/Karavan/Neutral) and then one last one leading to having to own atleast one of every TP (whether or not you can use them or not) - just like the one for having all of the Respawn Points and Portals...or whatever it was (I cannot remember)

I think it is time for me to says something here since I'll have to implement all that stuff :)

As far as the "travel distance" achievements are concerned, I'm sorry but it is technically impossible at the moment. I only get your x & y position coordinates everytime the game saves a chraracter and that's simply not enough info to calculate a useful distance.
I agree that this is quite a nice idea and such statistics would be really interesting. But for now... impossible :(

The idea with collecting all TPs of your faction (neutral/Kami/Karavan) is also very nice. I will add such achievements within the next few days, once the new "Fame" category is working.

Cool, someone noticed that I added that one :)

Anyhow, your ideas are always welcome! Even if some are impossible for the moment, I'm writing all those things down and hopefully we can soon track everything. I'm working on that!

awesome, i didn't think about the fact that it would only be x & y of the save, should have given that more thought, but glad that i had a good idea (seams rare, lolx) i too noticed it, and was intrested in that, for me that's what playing the game is about, the yobo points, it's ryzom's version of a score, and i want a high score.
