1. Is it really intended that every tool craft is a degrade ? The craft window says my success rate should be 100%, but while I'd get an occasional degrade back in "the ole days", I have had 0 successes in 10 attempts trying to make QL200 tools with a Level 200 skill. I'm 0 for 1 trying to make a 200 QL tool with a Level 250 skill.

I been told that the 175 QL tool will still make a QL200 craft or dig QL200 mats but it seems weird that I need a QL250 tool to craft / dig with 250 mats when the tool is vendor bought but that I can dig / craft 250 QL mats when I make a QL210 tool.

2. Why do we have racial tool crafting skills when they do not produce racial tools ? I craft using Fyros Armor Skill I get a piece of Fyros armor.....seems if I used Fyros tool making skill, I'd get a tool that only made Fyros crafts. I'm not saying I support the idea but the logic behind implementing racial tool crafting skills escapes me.

This is not intentional and the fix is high on the "To Do" list.


On No.2

I think it would be very cool if making say matis stuff w/ a Matis tool had some kind of benefit. I wouldn't want increased stats on the result but an oinmcrease in chance of success would seem like a cool thing and give us a reason to buy the other skills.
