IDEAS FOR RYZOM

As some of you might notice the Rain, and especially the fog effects make the game's framerate drop dramatically. It would be great if those effects could be optimised not to be so heavy on performance or if thats not possible - make an option to disable them at all.

I think it's possible to turn down the detail on effects / landscape in game.  I've noticed the reduction in framerate but never had it be so bad as to seriously affect my gameplay.

The effects your talking about dont reduce the detail lvl of rain/fog nor disable them. I met some people complaining about fog (especially the one in the Jungle [Not goo fog]) and rain. In some cases when the fog covers most of the screen while raining the FPS Drops from over 30 to under 5.
