I used to have a banner in my sigline. I still have the code for it but the banner disappeared with the merge. On the other hand some people's banners have not disappeared. How do I get my banner back? Going to the old banner generator doesn't seem to work, as the page has disappeared.

Thos who have generated banner, probably using static image or link from http://bm.bmsite.net/. All the old images from there should be (for now) accessible (just not updated).

I can reach: http://app.ryzom.com/app_ryzomapi/ and generate a key but:

Invalid api key [...]
The Ryzom.com account page does not provide keys anymore :/

By the way, Gorran, Yakapo and everyone else who is getting those neat little banner thingys at the bottom of your posts that show played time and last seen?? How do you get those???

The link above has a gallery as well as the ability to put in the API from the new api generator.
In the API generator you have to select Public for the code to work and the account needs to have been online recently.

Is there anything that would stop a banner from being viewed ? Up till yesterday, saw all the banners. Now I go in and see a lil white box that looks like it's holding someone's false teeth. Now if I right click on it and slect "View Image" i will see the image on a new page. Hit the "backup arrow" and now I see the image for that post. Then I can view a few posts other threads and see my banner. After afew minutes tho... locked out again. Before I start testing 34 settings in browser (FF), wanted to know if any known issues. BTW, made a new API key today, but if was aproiblem there, imagine I'd never see it at all. But as others are seeing it, must be on my end.

If it was ad blocking ....

1. Why work yesterday and not today ?

2. Is ad blocking disabled when after you right click / view image. I mean I can understand the logic going, "OK he made a conscious decision to view this popup, but when tou "go back" to previous page it's there and if you go to no threads its there.

Chrome's been removed from all PCs as half worked fine and the oither half had performance problems that went away when it was uninstalled, something common with many PCs which we were asked to diagnose.

IE is just used for Windoze Update so doesn't have any privacy protection since it's never used ... guess I'll have to go thru the settings one by one and find the culprit.

Is this an issue exclusively with the BMsite banners, or do other signatures exhibit the problem?

If if the latter, then it's something on your side. But if it's the former, maybe BMSite has an issue with hotlinking or generally with stability?
