Months have passed since we came back from exile, we had to endure leaving our homes and loosing faith in the self proclaimed "higher powers", we were forced to leave atys and came to our cities to start our lives again.


Our world got changed, and thus we've had adjust to our new reality, we are resiliant and did that fast, learnt how to avoid the kitin mounds and began to get stronger... but now we're starting the greed, the hoarding and reliving the old grudges,while the foulest creatures of atys still hold our lands as theirs, should we treat them as part of the landscape or fight them bravely? should we let them grow in numbers once more?

It's time to find their weaknesses and send them back into the nether regions of the Prime Roots where they belong,

WE WANT OUR ATYS!!

Yes it is time to fight back.
But maybe we should wait a little while till more homins come back from Silan.
United we stand and fight than back!!

It is my habit, after all these years, to look closely. Thus it was in the time before the Second Kitin Swarm, thus while in the Refuge, and thus now as well.

I note that while the Mounds that may be kitin nests or just passages from the roots below appear to be increasing in number in recent days and months, some of them are collapsing of their own weight. The mound that used to almost cover the stables at Dyron has fallen back into the dust even as the Kitin of the Depths and the soldiers and workers have continued to swarm.

I note that targeting the pale kitin of the depths excites only their own kind (at least a Dyron stables) but that an attack on a soldier or worker brings all of them running after me. I also note that the Fyros guards react more substantially to threats from the Workers and Soldiers than they do to the pale kitin of the depths.

I am old now, and have yet to find a decent pair of amps on the market anywhere, but it seems to me that we ought to be able to at least see how rapidly kitin may emerge from their mounds when we kill them.
