Would it be possible to structure Guilds in the same way that team/leagues are currently. I was recently apart of the Kiten inspection event at Pyr and that was the first I saw multiple teams linked through a league.

I was thinking that this same concept could be applied to guilds and the social structures of the nations. For the sake of discussion we can call the Dynasties ( I am not married to that nomenclature )

This could possibly aid in the upcoming international flavor of the single server world. ie Gaurdians of ZoraEN and Gaurdians of ZoraFR etc

Further distinctions could be made of other considerations as well. For instance, I am learning to enjoy a high RP play style. Not all of my friends make RP as high a priority. In this case I might be in a guild that is high RP but still linked through my Dynasty to others guilds who are not.

I don't THINK this is redundant with the factions and beliefs because it revolves around play style. I could be wrong.

This probably is already happening, I just think it could be cool to weave it into the fabric of the game interface.

atm you can use '/channel name pass' to make a custom channel and invite everyone in it that you want.
closing it is '/channel name *'

=> only problem this has is that on server reset the custom channels dissapear and need to be remade but can negotiate that by making a quick startup macro key press everytime you login to join channels and for instance the /supportChat and so on

Hmmm... There doesn't seem to be an English term for a "group of guilds", possibly because merchant and trade guilds in the Middle Ages and forward tended to be intensely competitive. I would suggest that Dynasty is *not* the right word, however, since it implies royalty and descent of titles.

I suggest the potential for "Union" of guilds or possibly "Congress" of guilds.

In fact, of course, such unions and alliances exist and have existed for a long time on Atys. Attempts, however, to *enforce* or *govern* such alliances have uniformly fallen flat on their faces before exploding violently.

My own feeling is that the channels give us communications ability, as does the formation of leagues of teams for control of large forces.
