To the officers of the city and to the Taliar, greetings.

I submit that it is a sorry commentary on the declining standards of behavior when the taunts of a few homins cause brawling in the streets and environs of Fairhaven to the detriment of simple pleasures and gentle conversation.

For the last couple of days a group of loutish Fyros (and yes, dear reader, there are many Fyros who are not loutish, but indeed are fine exemplars of their virtues in the service of Civilization) have by means of silent taunts and rude gestures induced other homins to brawl with them in the area near the stables where many gentlehomins gather to trade, chat, and craft.

These are not the small duels that one homin may indulge in with another as a cheerful test of strengths, but all out riots with the use of launchers, multiple enchantments, eggs and tactics that would be deemed excessive even in a contest over an outpost.

These homins bear a badge identifying their guild as Muted Guys, and they refuse all efforts at gentle discourse. However that guild does not appear on any of the lists of guilds, and since they will do nothing but taunt it is hard to say whether they are Karavan gone bad, Kami who have abandoned their senses or Marauders who hate everything. Who are they and why are they doing this?

It's gotten so that a homin can't even craft in peace.
