You just need to add /multi to the end of the executable pathname, something like

"C:\username\Program Files\Ryzom\ryzom_client.exe" /multi

Don't use the shortcut to the .bat file though, it has to be the .exe file

I atually run from 2 installs (the original copyed to a second location).
This has worked nice as i can copy it back when 1 install playes up as happens from time to time. Just back up your save file to copy back so you keep macros etc.
Also make sure ryzom is using all your cpu cores. even better set the clients differant cores.
To check cores bring up windows task manager, select processes, right click on client_ryzom_rd.exe*32 and click set affinity.

Hope this helps.

All I do to run 2 clients in Win7 x64, (I have the shortcut pinned, as part of the quick launch bar on the bottom of the desktop) is to right-click the icon and choose to run it again. I changed nothing in the pathname or files and the second client started up.

Actually ever since the last patch the /multi switch is no longer necessary. :)

Just run the program again and a second client will start.

click the button opposite the end task button. Its to do with the user permissions i think.

Ryzom runs with elevated privileges so you have to click the "Show processes from all users" button first to change the CPU affinity settings.
