Thread title is self-explanatory, I guess.

I should add that something is missing in the center of character selection window - it has just a blank square, partly covering characters' pics, and an icon(?). CPU use goes 100% in the process. My specs are not superb, although they moderately exceed minimum requirements (at least the processor).

Win XP SP3
AMD Sempron 3000+ 1.81Gz
2Gb RAM
ATI Radeon 9200

Sounds like your using the old Clent_ryzom_rd.exe to launch the game

If so, that's the client that is used by the download and install. (I know, because I did.) See my previous thread about cpu-usage http://app.ryzom.com/app_forum/?page=topic/view/10118/1#1. I also get the white square, but it doesn't affect character selection so that's minor.

So, where can I find the new (good) one? I downloaded from the torrent and after installed, it did the upgrades.
