Sorry. Just wanted a cute title for a change.

Anyway, for this week's idea I'd like to suggest the possibility of improving a homin's ability to scout new areas and shoot stuff within said areas dead with more accuracy - the development of craftable binoculars/spyglasses (whichever) and craftable scopes for ranged weapons. What do you guys think? Sound off below and/or make your voice heard on the poll above.

I can see the benefit of Binoculars or Telescopes, but why scopes for ranged weapons? Isn't the range mostly limited to 50m? And target lock is standard throughout the game.

Could give a slight increase to accuracy, but I mostly suggested it for atmospheric /aesthetic value.

Binoculars are probably outside of NEL's capabilities, at least in any meaningful manner. Would definitely love them though.
Scopes ... as part of bigger Ranged fighting overhaul, yes please. Like branching ranged into slow (sub 6/min), hard-hitting role on one side, shotgun-like on the other and maybe even SMG-like on the third. Coupled with dual-wielding pistols it could advance this game past just knights&wizzards and into proper year 2561.
