IDEAS FOR RYZOM

Hello community!

I've started playing Ryzom a few days and I enjoy it very much!

I immediately had a question: is there any plan for an italian localization? I have many friends who would be willing to play such a nice game (I really enjoy the skill system and the long progression path) but are not very good at english.

Thanks for any replay, cheers,

Fabio/Sagittar

Maybe one of the other languages (French, German, Spanish, Russian) might help.

I haven't heard of any plans to translate into other languages - but I know how to get the files needed for it and the devs in the open source community are currently working on some kind of tool to make the translation easier ( see http://dev.ryzom.com/issues/1397 )

What do you mean by "one of the other languages may help"?

Anyway, good to know they are working on a tool for easing the translation work. Is there a way to know if and when those tools will be completes?

Well if they live close to the Border to Austria their German might be better than their English or if they live close to France their French.
Or they might have family in a country corresponding to one of the other languages available and might speak that one instead.
I live in Germany and know people that are more fluent in Russian than English.
And I've seen people in Denmark more fluent in German than English as well.

I'm positive that I'm not the only one having that kind of experience - that's all I meant with the comment ;-)

Except following the progress of the issue linked before? None that I know of.
