Well if it was trying to be like that I think there would be no question mark like:
Meagon bashfully asks Entendu to dance.
There wouldn't be a question mark in that.

It might be attempting to be:
Meagon bashfully asks Entendu, dance?
In which case it might need quotes or just the comma

Either way it is gramatically incorrect at the moment :)
