Any plans to provide an unofficial rsync server so we can update only the changed bits?

good job! a x86_64 client is a long waited release. It could be a really good idea to automatize the update, using rsync, git (to undo changes) or another tool (keeping all the warnings about been non-official).

Thanks, sorry no rsync/git/... planned.

For those of you who are interested in compiling your own, I have been running under my own compiled dynamic lib version of a 64 bit client for quite a while, on Ubuntu and Fedora.
Yesterday, as a test, I took the updated/new files from the data directory of the Windows released client, performed a clean compile on the latest Linux source code, then added the new Windows data files and the new client_default.cfg from that compilation, to my working client. I now have a stable Linux client with all the new bells and whistles.
