Hi,

If there are new posts on subscribed topics or new announcements
- inside Ryzom the compass shows an icon with the number of new posts
- the starting page of the web interface shows the number of new posts on the forums link.

That's fine, but announcements show up even if they have already been read.

In my opinion announcement threads should always be considered subscribed threads and handled the same way. Meaning: announcement threads that have been read should not generate a notification ingame or on the starting page.
