IDEEN FÜR RYZOM

If targeted, fireworks should produce "fear" in mobs, lasting just as long as a normal fear would, but not trigger attack once it wears off.

Why not trigger the aggro?

The reaction of aggro upon being scared is normal for beasts. If the reason is that there's no directionality to the boom/flash, that seems possible, but brings other questions to the fore.

Rather than targeting I would say that it should be an AoE effect.
If so, then all feared beasts should return to the center (where the fireworks were set off) and look around, looking for something to blame. If one of them is a normally aggro beast, then... well that's just too bad, you shoulda moved.

:D

Why move? Pyrotechnic taunt seems like it could be fun!

Do not assume that you speak for all just because you are the loudest voice; there are many who disagree that simply have no desire to waste words on you.

The only reason I was thinking of not triggering attack is to stay in the fun spirit of fireworks.

But, the idea that everything within a radius impacted is more reasonable, and then all return to the center does make more sense;
sort of like an M84 flashbang.
