Just figured id pop in and say hi to all who may remember me from the beta days so long ago. I was also a csr during beta. When i get reliable net etc i may just have to come back in and see how the game has progressed over the years. Pretty sure i used novaflare as my main char along with nova etc. Commonly going by nanaki on forums etc any more.

Thanks for the link Binarabi, but I can't log in, I haven't played since 2010 so I'm guessing my old character has been wiped from the face of Atys :(

It's great to see the game is still going after all these years. Some of my first memories of the game were teaming with Doc and Neela during the beta test and getting slaughtered with them in the Kitin raids on the capital cities.

Sadly Doc left the rootball a long time ago. Have you tried contacting support? I know other players that weren't around during the merge that have had their toons recovered. I think that, as long as you don't have a new one in the slot your character inhabited, they can recover it. Worth a shot.

Thanks Neela, it's been at least 3 years since I last played Ryzom. I'm trying to remember how to play the game again and catch up on all the changes. I'm getting lots of help from universe chat and the guild.

I get like that even after a few days not playing so you're not alone!

Always good to see one of the old timers come back; guess you just have to scratch that itch eventually! I'll keep an eye out for you next time I'm online. My PC is playing up a bit so I'm not on as much at the moment but hoping to sort it this weekend.

Thanks Arfur, good advice. I did a good few missions before I moved to the mainland. My main problem on the mainland so far was trying to remember how to navigate the maze in Heretics Hovel going from Matis lands to Tryker lands. I got there today in the end with help.

Ah yes, the 'fun' trip; always best done with company. I'd have come help if I'd known you were making that trip lol. Long as we had someone who knew the way along as well, my sense of direction is terrible and I always get lost there.
