FIRST OFF I WANTED TO POST THIS OFF THE FORUMS ON RYZOMNOMNOM.COM (ryzom's wiki)

THIS IS A SPOILER FOR ALL THE OCCUPATIONS, ALL RECIPES HERE YIELD 100% FOR THE GRADE LISTED WITH THE RECIPE UNDER EACH OF THE OCCUPATIONS.

i wanted to add this information to the ryzomnomnom page, however, that page seams to be broken when you try to edit any information you simply get an error, i worked very hard trying to find these all, and another player was kind enough to share these with me, so because of the large amount of work i put into getting all this, i'd like to try to save others interested in the "easy route" (as though searching the forums is always easy when you want just one thing) i'm hoping to save you a few hours/days/weeks/months (yes months it's not easy to get this information) but anyway here's the list:

If any mistakes are found let me know which ones aren't 100% i checked it over though should be ok  (use select all to reveal hidden text)

I had fun finding my receipes on my own. It's pretty easy actually. But i guess noone will ever have that fun again.

And yes there is a big difference between a public forums post and the option to ask someone.

very true casy, but the kicker is that it clearly says in the subject "(spoiler warning)" thus if you open the thread and don't stop one or two lines into the very first post of WARNING'S IN CAPS, you've made the choice to read it and the only person to blame then, is yourself, because like so many things, this is OPTIONAL to read and use.

You can't present info right in face of a person and say that it would be a challenge to find out for themselves. Simply doesn't work that way, no matter what you write.

well as human beings we have choices, and we can choose to read or not read, use or not use, i simply provided what many long time players already knew, so i took it one step further then them and shared it openly with new players that might decide after weeks or month's of failures a way to get the answers to the questions they might ask like i did. there are some people that won't open and read this because they will see the "(spoiler warning)" and as you can see from the other players posts, it's a welcome addition.

Sorry, but I'm siding with Casy. If you ever manage to edit the Wiki and put the recipes there, please take this information off the game forums :)

I know you're trying to be helpful Talk, but in-game, public forums are an inappropriate venue for spoilers. Ryzom was never intended to be an easy game to play, people who continue to play it love it partially because of it's complexity and the fact that you have to work to make things happen. this is perfect for a guild forum thread, but not general info, anybody curious enough to look for it can easily find it via Google or asking friends. I hope a CSR sees it and removes the thread.

i know full well i will receive alot of negative press for my opinion but i proudly state it....

it has been so many years that this info by all rights should be easy to find online "somewhere" and as of yet i have only been able to get it by nagging old players

now, i wanted them just because, it helps me, help others, if i can speedily get to grade 6 and give away items or give away certificates to others so they can get to grade 6

it is my personal and sincere opinion that if you want to use 50% recipes and take 2 months instead of one month to do an occupation, and you want to call that fun and challenging when you probably do know the 100%s are out there somewhere... that you might have a bit of a masochist in you

okay okay don't shoot me for saying it :P

there is a logical way to arrive at 100%, a sizable group of people working together would not take very long but i have not really heard about this happening, i believe that someone who really doesnt want spoilers wont read this post and i believe that someone who legitimately wants to find this out on their own wont read this post, and if they do happen to read the first few bits they will back away and forget the numbers and never come here again with 0 temptation, because this is how they want to play

so i respectfully disagree with the nay-sayers on this. i have thought about posting this on the wiki before but after discussing with some older players i quickly realised that i would get alot of bashing (imo unnecessarily so) for doing it

let's be honest if someone wants the 100% and cant find them because perhaps they dont know anyone who might have them or are just afraid to ask in case someone gives them a snobby reply, etc, they will lose extra hours of their life using less than 100% that are currently on the wiki

some people want the option not to lose this time, and i am one of these people, i got the 100%s early and i used them happily and it has enabled me , to help others, much better. so i am arguing that we should at least see both sides of the coin

its not that i dont appreciate some people really REALLY feel this is a bad idea to have in public but

what about crafting ranges by freddy, what if i didnt want to know about that? there are ways to find that out myself too, oh no i now know the max speed for an axe and its stuck in my head forever, damn!

so all im saying is, anyone responsible and mature who wants to put themselves through the happy trial of figuring it out will honestly probably not bother reading it and even if they did read a few they would get guilty after a little bit :P

You know that every post made in this thread is a temptation to read it because it'll show up in the "unread threads/posts" section and give a nice red number on top of the forum?

Eruv..."what about crafting ranges by freddy" Are you kidding?! How is that thread in any way a spoiler? it gives you something to aim for, not a solution to a crafting problem, it only let's one know what the max/min ranges are, not how to produce desired results. All this info can be found elsewhere on the web, and has been available since before my time on the mainland, some of the recipes were authored by my former Guild leader who had the forethought not to publish it in a thread in-game. This is just a giveaway, and in my opinion should be removed for the good of the game, there are too many giveaways already, Ryzom wasn't intended to be played like Pac-Man (I hope)

LoL @Jamys, you're sooo right !!

i honestly wanted to post this all else where for ryzom players, namely the ryzom wiki, however like many things with the ryzom name, there's a bug or error to doing the very thing i was wanting to do, and so like in the game i love so much, i found a work around or second option, if the error on the ryzomnomnom.com can be edited to include this information, i'm all for it, and i'll be more then happy to ask a csr or admin to delete this thread, however untill i can place this someplace where it can be found with some ease (spending days looking though search results on google is no different then spending days trying to get the 100% in-game)

i like to think of myself as mr helpful, if my help upsets players, i'm sorry, but i still will stand behind my idea that placing the information out there is better then being greedy and keeping to hard to find, i've offered help to many players, some take it because they want it, others respectfully decline it because they would rather put in the work, thus i believe that my warning of spoilers in the thread is more then enough to let players that want the challenge of doing the work won't bother to read this post at all, they'll read the other posts they want and when done will click the all powerful "mark all read" button and never give the first view to this thread.

please everyone, don't think that i'm doing this and other things i do to be spiteful, i do it to help those that want the help, some things i learn on my own, other's i'd like some help with, so i both take and decline help and tips, thus as a mature adult i do what i choose to do based on how i want to experience the game.

but thank you all for your thoughs, for those that don't agree with my idea and point of view, i'm very sorry, for those that do agree, thank you for you time and thoughs. to everyone, your all my friends and i hope that this doesn't change that basic friendship that we have because i believe that in the end we're all out for one thing, to have a good time and make friendships.

i have avoided spoiler warnings before on things that i didn't want ruining for me.. how childish and easily led must a person be to not be able to avoid looking at something which they know is going to spoil things for them?
if i had a cookie dangling in front of my face saying "eat me" on it, i would only eat it if i actually wanted to. if, for whatever reason, i did not want that cookies then i would, most definitely, not eat it.
t.v. shows - for a lame example - if i'm behind on a show and someone on the tinterweb has posted a 'spoiler' about the episodes on my 'page' or in a mail, i won't watch/read it simply because i don't want to ruin it for myself.
i like to think i have the (very minimal) self control needed to be able to avoid looking at something i don't want to see.. if other don't then they need to practice self-control - it will do wonders for their lives.
when i first started the occs and tried that first time to get a recipe right, naively unaware that there was some answers on the nomnom, i was annoyed that all that time and effort (and it was effort back then) was wasted.
i was similarly annoyed that, upon finding the nomnom, that not all recipes were the 100% yield.
i'm hugely grateful for the people that originally put the recipes online as they have saved my mental state from imploding.
it's no different writing it on here than it is in a guild post. the content is still the same, it's just open to the 'world' rather than a selected few.

i suppose the thread could be moved to separate section away from the eyes of people who simply can't stop themselves from looking but, in my opinion, if they view something that they know is going to spoil something else for them then that's their own fault..

the game is hard enough without having to work out recipes.. there is a possible 16807 permutations to get out of the 7 choices. now, maybe it's just me, but i don't have the time nor patience to, possibly, get 16806 wrong answers.
(those numbers only equate to the 100% recipes.. not accounting for other percentage recipes)
