There's a Type A Mound in Imperial Dunes. North East of Pyr, on top of a hill 125m south of the Kami Outpost.

Found a Type C Mound in Hidden Source, on the eastern side of Virginia Falls, near some small ruins.

I'm guessing there's 4 per nation, and only one in a region. Most of those found so far are in 1-50 regions around the Capitals but there are some found in 200-250 regions so they are spread about.

Thank you Arfur.

As of this time I have reports via various means of ten termite mounds and rumors of an eleventh.

There are four (4) (one of each type) that have been found in the Jungle Lands:
Two are in Cities of IllusionINTUITION, one south of Jen-Lai and one on the very eastern border just a bit south of the Big Hand Border Post. One is in Grove of Umbra north-east of Qu-Gin Workshop, in the Goo but approachable without Goo damage. One is inside Paramount Stock in the Void, on the top level.

There are three (3) (Types A, C and D) that have been found in the Forest Lands:
One is in Majestic Garden, near the cliffs east of Psykopla Knoll. One is in Hidden Source east of Virginia Falls (known in the dialect of Avendale as Lake Victoria) near some ruins. One is in Grove of Confusion, near the cliff south of the village of the Sap Slaves. There is a vague report of another one in Majestic Garden, but no accurate location has been given to me.

Two (2) have been found in the Desert Lands.
One is near the Valley of the Emperors on the hills above the Kami shrine, near a large tree. One is reported in the Fraiders camp in Scorched Corridor "behind a large skull."
(There are many termite mounds in the Desert, but only a few are of the correct species. The correct ones appear not to form multiple mounds.)

Only one (1) has been found in the Lake Lands, located in a hollow island north of Fairhaven and south of Lakeinisle.

The poster seems to have been hurriedly edited.

Very soon I will be posting copies of maps that I have made with the greatest care for accuracy.

New maps have been pasted over the originally posted maps.

Bittymacod,

I don't know if it is intended or not, but calling our region the Cities of Illusion is a great offense, and writing this for everyone is spreading an unbearable libel.
Our region, in the Witherings, is the Cities of Intuition !

As an inhabitant, I ask for due explanation and apologise.

Hello Mac'Od Bittty

Not sure if I as a young Tryker can contribute much...

I found your poster lately and remembered it when I found another termite mound in the Lakelands.
So I went to check the location you told us about in the hollow island north of Fairhaven.
I found the mound, but to my surprise it seemed that the termites left it, I could not find any activity in it!

But I found another termite mound in the Lakelands!

Unfortunately my drawing skills are very poor, so I will spare you the results of my tries at drawing a map...

I found an active type B mound at a feet of a huge tree which seems to be dead.
This huge tree is located NNO of the city of Windermeer, in a huge area between said city and the Blackmoor (Schwarzmoor).
It is just north of a camp of Corsars (Korsaren), within eyesight!

I hope these informations may help your cause!

With best Regards, Auro

Enlightened Fey-Lin,

I assure you that no slight, taunt, or any other sort of social criticism was intended. It is only the fault of my flighty Tryker brain. The area is now, and always has been, the Cities of Intuition. I go at once to scribble out the original and correct it.

I completely and humbly apologize for my error.

Since Wilk Potskin was called away on an urgent mission, the meeting with the Rangers was cancelled, but a few people hadn't gotten the word in time, so they met in Almati Wood anyway, myself being one of them. After a brief discussion it was decided that those gathered would explore to see if we could not uncover the location of the termite mounds that we were sure had been missed.

We started in Lakes, in the Lands of Loria and after long search discovered a mound behind the camp of the bandits named "7 swords of sin". We then continued to Bounty Beaches, based on a hunch that Kiwalie had. There we found another nest and made a lumios:

Intrepid termite hunters in Bounty Beaches with an elusive termite mound

We then went to the Desert Lands and searched around the great city of Pyr until we found a termite mound up a narrow canyon to the northwest of the city walls, then on to Dyron to find the last one, or so we thought. We had hit upon a theory that the mounds were to be found in a pair in the easiest regions of each Land, one in the most difficult and one in the area of next most difficult achievement.

In the area around Dyron we searched high and low but could find nothing, so we traveled to Thesos and began searching the area around that city, even as members of the team were forced to leave due to fatigue. No Kitins could stand in our way, no Varinx or Ocyx stood a chance before this team of intrepid adventurers.

Finally, as we were coming up out of the southern reaches of the Kipuka Plain who should we meet with but Wilk Potskin! He greeted us and gave to us a magnetized amber that would help us locate the mounds in the desert (but not in other lands). With this in hand we thought to make short work of our job, but no. Finally Kiwalie was so fatigued that she could not go on and she passed the amber to me. With the help of Daomei and Diwu I continued on while the amber amulet gave no hint of location.

Finally as we prepared to run to the upper portions of Outlaw Canyon from the Karavan altar in Sawdust Mines, the amulet gave a faint glimmer. As we moved back and forth, the glow within the amber grew stronger until it illumined a termite mound near the cliffs in Sawdust Mines. It would seem that somehow our theory had been incomplete. Then did we all part company and go to our beds.

Now we have a map of four termite mounds in each of the four Lands of Atys.

I have pasted the new maps over the old maps (above) and all seems well, but there remains one small niggling doubt. The termite mound near the Arena is of a slightly different sort. Is it possible that we are still missing one?

With respect,

Mac'Od Bittty Associate Researcher, NTCS
