make so that I can do a following for my macros and also wait for them to do something
and I want to beable to do repetitive tasks...like say, follow then wait for them to take some damage and then healing
and also for digging, wait for them to start digging and then cp for them and then follow when it's been finished and done
...is there a following for a shortcut key? (press K)

It is possible, under the current system to set up a key-assigned macro that will target a person, set you to follow and to assist that person.
It is also definitely possible to set a macro to target a person, target their target (a node, an enemy) and execute an action in the current hands bar. Or you could target a person and heal them.
What you cannot do, and what you seem to be asking for, in my opinion, is to set up a reactive bot in game (as opposed to the setting up of a reactive bot out of game, which is specifically against the Terms of Agreement). The reasons for not allowing it out of game are the same as those for not making the capability available in game. You aren't playing that character any more, you're winding it up and letting it play itself.
