There are no buttons with which to edit the info, either in-game or in an external web browser (Google Chrome).

I have no buttons of ANY kind available for mine. Similarly, this is in game and in Google Chrome, as well as via Firefox (current update).

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

For me in game forum, profile, and the same are all blank white, any ideas on that.

Try this:

Arty (atys)

The data part is optional, the important change is withing the client_default.cfg

The adress for all internal web apps has changed and this is the reason for white screen. Locate your client_default.cfg and check the following section:

WebIgMainDomain = "app.ryzom.com";
WebIgTrustedDomains = {
"api.ryzom.com", "app.ryzom.com"
};

If they have the old urls, change them to app.ryzom.com

@Talkirc: I had the same problem.
After stopping Ryzom, deleting the users, cache and unpack folder in your Ryzom-Installation and new start of the game, the game patched itself again and then it worked.

On Linux I did the mac fix with the rsync update of the data folder and found there were 42 updates which got applied but while I could see the webig updates in the config and such it didn't fix it.

Only when I ran the ryzom_update.sh script did it update the client as well and after that everything was ok.

Hm, I get the "Change" button with my char on Silan, but my main char doesn't...
Any ideas, why?

I can write, but it doesn't appear...

Same for me here. I wrote a paragraph for my biography but it doesn't appear when I click Info. However when I click to edit it, it's still there.

@Talkirc: I had the same problem.

I deleted files in cache and unpack folders. It still doesn't work and the nice picture behind my name in the profile 'P' window is juste a green lemon band... WTF !?
And my biography doesn't take account of what i'm writting in it...
