BTW, anyone worrying about the premium package: why not add a low level alt to the list of the reckless, and then give the armor to your high level character so you don't have to sacrifice skill levels? Maybe that badge only shows up for one character, but is that just on the forums, or in-game too (with a title?)? Maybe they'll implement BoP items that you can't give to your other characters. ;>

I checked out Ryzom's site on a whim, and my free account didn't get an email about this. (perhaps because I set it not to email me?)
I've been putting off returning to Ryzom even on my free account. I haven't played since that transition period when it was free for everyone. (or there was another free trial since then.)
I'm not sure what my old account means to me, considering I haven't played in years... My old guild is gone and all my guildmates. I barely remember most of them any more.
Do I want to pay $11 to stick some fancy armor on my character (that we won't even know how (in)obtainable it will be. Medium bandit armor??), if I'm just going to unsubscribe? Then again, what's $11?
One day soon I'm aiming to craft myself my Zorai mask in real life. That's what I really really want, to return to the jungles in real life. I've been looking into papercraft cosplay crafting. (I'd also like to do some weapons and armor if I can.) I think that's a better memento than virtual armor.
(I know it's foolish, but I wish my subbed account could be played for free with skills temporarily lowered to the maximums of free accounts. Oh well.)
