It's easy for me to say because I was one of those around long enough to remember when we didn't have any at all. It's also easy for me to say because I've always believed you have to earn them, they're not a right and we did so by taking and defending outposts on a regular basis. Now that the population is so low, having the same level of production as then means everyone would have them and there'd be no intensive to bother with outposts. I will agree with you though that there should be _proper_ PvP alternatives to obtaining them though. (and yeah, guess what, I've been saying that for years too)
