I guess many of you already know about the Ryzom Armory, but for those who don't, here comes a quick description:
The Armory displays profiles of characters and guilds. You may opt-in and out anytime you want, so just give it a try and participate. You can control, who may view which information about your characters or guilds. The data is all yours!

Today we have expanded the Ryzom Armory and added Achievements. You may know such things from other games. The basic idea is to define certain goals players can achieve while playing their characters eg. "Obtain 10.000 Dappers".

We do not want to support competition (and the resulting flame wars), but help players to have some goals within the game. Goals are an important part of a game and since Ryzom lacks real goals, we thought this was a good idea.
There are now new privacy settings available to control, who can view your Achievements. By default every registered (and logged in) user can view them. You may change this settings at any time, but please keep in mind that the Armory only exists because there is something we can show. So please don't hide everything.
