I have quite some trouble understanding why refusing a solution that would go in everyone's way. Why not just let people play with alts, but restrict them, and forbid them only when there is an imbalance, like on OP wars for example? What's your problem with someone training with their alts on their own? It hasn't bothered anyone in more than 8 years and suddenly "If you let people have alts well I'll leave", without and discussion, or any possible compromise?
If we remove the imbalance by forbidding them on OP wars and such, why not just leave them alone for the activities they have left if that's how they enjoy it? Do people really have an ego that big they can't even bear the idea that someone -unlike them- doesn't always need someone to train (even though most of the multiboxers team up with players everyday)?
