To all homins to whom this message may come, greetings:
As was announced by other means (*) Phaedreas Tears was offered the chance to accept a friendly transfer of Zo-Kian Ruins Workshop Outpost. With the help of an assortment of homins of all nations and religions, we were successful in accepting the transfer. Even now, the drill is operating, producing modified Cheng root of the highest grade, together with Intelligence Flowers and the ubiquitous experience catalyzers.
Phaedreas Tears accepted the duty of management of this Outpost for one purpose and one purpose only, to ensure that the products of this Outpost would be distributed by a neutral party in a fashion that does not favor anyone, to the benefit of all homins in Atys, be they Kami, Karavan, Marauder or Ranger. (**)
How this will work in practice will be something that will require adjustment over time as we begin to understand the mechanisms both of the drill and the dynamics of guilds.
However, certain things will be constant:
1) All materials will be free of charge.
2) Phaedreas Tears will not keep any of the materials for ourselves.
3) We will publish the distribution each time we do it so that all can see what we have done.
4) Distribution will be once per season and a half (one week RL). It will not be depend upon a specific person or representative being online at the time of distribution. (However, any materials not claimed after another season and a half will be redistributed.)
Distribution will be one bunch of cheng roots and one or two flowers (depending on production) per guild per turn. No guild on the list will get a second distribution until all guilds on the list have had one. (OOC: The first distribution will be 20-06-2018 19:00 UTC.)
If you would like to be on the list we consider, send an IM to me and/or to Itzy, my second in command. We will make a payment ledger (OOC: spreadsheet). We will be checking Guilds using Moniq's book of Guilds of Atys. (OOC: RyGReg 0.8 /appzone 1947) To start with, guilds with fewer than four active members will not be considered. (Note: this may change if this grand experiment lasts long enough.)
NOTE 1: This isn't a perfect system for distribution. I doubt one exists. However, it is what we are going to use, and we will modify it if we find a better system.
NOTE 2: Phaedreas Tears does not fight against other sapient homins (OOC: no PvP). If any group that does not favor free and fair distribution of Outpost materials were to challenge our ownership, we will be dependent upon those who favor this experiment to defend the Outpost. We will keep you all aware.
