While I am not much for giving out (truthful) personal info, I also deal with enough places that have that information, many of which are more tempting targets for "black hats" and/or are not as proactive about security, that I consider giving the information needed to have a subscription to a relatively obscure MMO managed by a staff willing to pull all-nighters at the first sign of problems to be a small risk compared to, say, using my bank card at the gas pump.
