I did not see that an auto afk proposal was part of the idea, but I deem it a good idea, though. It happens often to me that I forget to issue an afk after receiving a phone call, someone at the door, something cooking in the kitchen etc. It would be a nice and (to my impression) not too hard to implement feature in the client, maybe configurable over a client.cfg variable (e.g. auto afk after x minutes with a default of 5 or so).
