A more convenient solution would be to save the state of each skill branch being expanded or collapsed together with the interface.
I usually only open a few branches I need to check and it would be amazing to just continue where I left off after logging in and having the branches exactly the same layout ...

I like this idea, and I think it would not be to hard to do. Just needs to be saved client side so it reopens to what it was last.
