Imho achieving all five dig masters should be a prerequisite to be able to accept a sage mission. Fullfilling the sage's requests should then give knowledge about this additional stanza.
This I don't understand, the sage missions I know and played are giving items of Q110 and Q120. Are there other sage missions? Or is this just an other miss understanding? Do you mean rites? I don't get the point of making the sage missions only available to multi digging masters.
