I'm willing to donate for this to happen...

me too.

Pocket Worlds sounds incredible!! I always loved the Ring, and I think this would add so much creative freedom to the players.

I agree an easy to use interface like the Ring had would be amazing as well, so more people can design their own "scenarios". And I would totally be willing to donate to any type of crowd funding effort to make Kaetemi's project happen as well.

Oh pleaaase, let it happen!!! Yeahhhhh. Can't wait!!

Hi,

We brought up the subject of the development of Ryzom and such. We discussed it on different lvls, compared it to other games and such. Finaly we got to the ring subject and Dinorath told me something was moving into that direction. The pocket wolds sounds amazing. I would like to participate to this project. I've been a drafter for years in several companies and also love to model for my own. I have realy good knowledge of 3dsmax and several other CAD programs. Today i'm reading about this for the first time and got also on the irc channel of freenode. I'm looking for as much as possible info in order to propose whatever i can to make this happen.

due to a lack of available characters, i'll continue tis post on the next reply...

Making this available to everyone would be nice. But what about starting with a few people at first? Anyone could manifest it's interest and participate to the development of our favorite game, whitout necessarely putting in place a whole stucture that could end up under-used. I guess it's what Ryzom Forge stands for. What i'm saying is, make the tool available at first, have people work with it who are realy into it, and if all agree on the work beeing done, simply implement it into the game. Bit by bit, the game will extend and add fun for everyone. For example, with a future patch an npc will port the players into an instance and have them play one of the scenarios that has been adopted.

Greetings
SB

I recal Second life having a sort of virtual server you could install on you're own pc. You were able to import geometry from 3dsmax and basicly work on a whole map, then upload the files. I'm thinking of something similar for ryzom, wich might save money? A tool we could use localy, then upload the files to Forge for example, have it looked at, and when all agree, just implement it into the game.

An idea popped into my head the other day: Is there any way pocket worlds can be incorportated into the plan to create another zone? For that matter, what if the players created pocket worlds/zones and they were continually incorporated into the game so there was a bigger and bigger world? I know there would have to be some kind of limit because of server capacity, but long range, is it possible?

-- Sittingbull (mer. 31 déc. 2014 19:38:43 UTC UTC):
After a little search and reading, i have found all the info i needed on this forum and the Ryzom Forge page on google+.
