Setting that fire required me just marching onto the island in the middle of a mob of Kirostas.
I suppose I could have killed some off beforehand to make it easier, but in practical terms setting a fire takes long enough that it wouldn't make much difference; one Kirosta will kill you just as dead as an entire pile of them.
This trick required good Dodge HA, Melee Aura, a buckler/dagger combo that gave +37 Dodge, and a little helpful healing from the far shore, but I think it was worth it.
