I think I have found the issue. It looks like the definitions of what that have been chosen to share for a guild / character get lost in some way if multiple people add keys for the same guild / character. This should of course work, so it is not a user bug, it is a bug in my source.
The first and quickest fix for this seem to be to to add a check on the welcome page, and if a key lacks sharing info, it gets added again, with no sharing enabled. The downside of this method is that all sharing options for that guild / character are lost along the way, and have to be manually re-added by the user. But it will auto-fix the bug when people log in so at least the site works.
I will try and implement this fix first, before I dig even deeper down to see why this info gets lost in the first place. Thank you all for the patience :)
