Yesterday there was a small group of homins who were putting out the unattended fires
There are two ways I could have responded to this:
None role play - "You mean swines, why are you mindlessly putting out those fires, this is very sad" And I would have felt personal emotion and felt tetchy
or
Role play - "/Shout HEY!
What do you think you are doing Chispo??
That fire was no danger to the stables
You are some hooligan??

J'observe de pour vous Chispo! (I am watching for you Chispo!)
et je vois que les gardes de Fairhaven vous ont juste tués - vous êtes évidemment un voyou! (And I see the Fairhaven guards just killed you - you are obviously a hooligan!)
Vous semblez avoir amené des amis - peut-être pour causer plus de dégâts (You appear to have brought friends - perhaps to cause more damage)
(by this time there were Chispa, Maxigrande, Teresa, Chispo, Conquistadora, Maxigrande, Teresa, Dorada, Celestina and Etan all playing together on the beach, killing and healing each other and tbh - looking just like a bunch of hooligans)
I know this is long winded - but I end up feeling cheerful (as a Homin watching what is happening in my neighbourhood) instead of a tetchy / irritated player. I could now follow this up with an Izam mail to Jazzy, alerting him to a group of hooligans we have in the neighbourhood and they might get mentioned at the next Tryker meetings so we can all keep an eye on them :)
So my advice (to none role players) is try out a bit of role play and see how it makes you step back from yourself - and see Atyss through different eyes - it is fun and puts a totally different slant on the game and also stops one taking it all personally and feeling angry
