We are working on the forums merge so that there is one set of forums for use by all players. In order to do so, we have begun to update the forums to have muti-language text support.
Here is a brief explanation on how to use it :
In some parts of the forum, when creating or editing post, you can see a new checkbox labeled 'multilingual'. If you select this box, you can add translations for your text directly in your post by using language specific tags: [EN], [FR], [DE], [ES], [RU].
Example:
[EN] Your text in English.
[FR] Your text in French.
[DE] Your text in German.
[ES] Your text in Spanish.
[RU] Your text in Russian.
There's no need to add a tag for the non translated text.
Example :
[FR] Your text in French.
[EN] Your text in English.
These tags can be used as much for the title of the subject as for its body, for the forum title, the description, or the polls.
If you want to add an image or a link without any language restriction, just add the [**] tag at the beginning of the line, and it will be displayed in all languages.
When someone is reading your post, depending on its forum or game settings, it will show only the text in the chosen language if a translation is available. Otherwise, the Google translation widget is still available.
Posts which contain only single language have to be marked as such using language select box (drop-down menu). Users can set their language preferences in forum profile and ignore those posts/topics if they want. Google translator widget also depends on post language and stays hidden when post and forum language match.
A more complete set of instructions will be made once the multi-language support is stable.
