Gil -- any rite that you did prior to merge will not work for you if you do it again. What needs to be fixed is to give back the rewards that we had prior to the merge.
I had done the first focus rite prior to merge and so did not get the focus reward when I did it a second time. When I did the second focus rite (which I had not done prior to the merge), I got my reward.
From reports of guildies and the general populace, the characteristics rites work fine for new toons (those that are completable, that is). It is only us who did them prior to the merge who are ---d.
Well, i don't get your point: the rites don't work because they don't give the rewards.
Prior the merge i had all the relevant rites already done, and most of perople that played for long time prior the merge did them.
Are the rites working? no. Should they be fixed so everyone can get the rewards? Yes.
