I can't start Ryzom

Well, that's bad; and of course it's new.

I'd suggest that in addition to posting here you write to the support team directly at support@ryzom.com.

It's just barely possible that the update in Windoz corrupted one of your files. Do you have a backup copy of the directories that you could re-install from? If you do, be sure to back up your current Save directory so that you can keep all your map markers and key assignments. None of the files in there should cause Win errors, since they are read very late in the startup process, after you log in.

If you still have the installation file that you downloaded, that should be sufficient, but I recommend copying the whole directory tree off to a backup area after you do the install, and again after you are successfully running.
