Ryzom is a fairly old game. You can run 1-2 clients fine on a graphics card with the power of Nvidia 8600 or Intel HD4000 desktop series (min fps about 10 during outpost battles, usually >20 at 1080p). Check comparison tables for current graphic cards that exceed the power of those.
Maximum Texture set is 64MB, so a 128MB-256MB card will do fine (i doubt you can buy any card below 512MB today).
If you want to capture video or need 60 fps at highest settings you might want a better card.
