Game crash during startup

If you want to read how to screw things up even more and maybe get a laugh: Well read this:

My old desktop needed a cleaning and it took me 2 days to dismount it into all pieces, remove all dust from it with help of a small brush and Red Alcohol, well Methanol and mount it again and now it smells good, well it does smell some Methanol but I can breath now at least as it was covered in 6 years of dust. The mounting went faster then expected, maybe 30-60 min. I took photos of those small contacts before dismounting them so all went back to the right place again. :) Digital Cameras ROCKS!!!!

Damn, every time I started that comp, I got allergic attacks from it, hard to breath and itchy eyes and a wet snotty noose. Well maybe I am not alone to react this way from dirty old computers, TV or old radios and stuff like that. I hate dust and I must visit dirty old Electric rooms at work time to time and I complain to bosses about them but noone feels they are responsible to solv it and pay for the cleaning but thats another story. It is a pure hell in any case.

I plugged the comp in after the 2 days of cleaning and it worked perfect except that a harddrive did not respond and it stopped to respond before the dismount so I then decided to clean it and install Kubuntu 12.04 64-bit when it was up and running again.

To dismount the harddrive, I needed to dismount the graphiccard again and you know that small lock in the end of the bus... Well I pushed it too hard and theres a small capacitor behind it and it got loose. Well the computer is useless now as that capacitator is a part of the PCI-Express bus. Well it seems that I will never get a gaming desktop up and running really. I will buy a new capacitator and try to sold it back on the motherboard but it is a bigger risk to break something else in the process then succeed solding on a modern moderboard. It was easier to sold in the 8 and 16-bit computers 25-30 years back if you ask around or just ask me... ;) I ones rebuild a 5 1/4 floppy drive to make it copy everything 1992, even copy copysafe from one disk to another and it worked and still works if I start it again so I will try to repair my motherboard, even if it is damn hard with the mordern topsolded components as they are so damn tiny.

Well I got some problems but maybe I should only play the game on my laptop at my GFs apartment and not at mine???? ;) I have a couple desktops in my apartment but none of them are able to use a 3D Graphiccard as they are either low profile or they have not enough power but I can always put 2 together and get the power to the graphiccard from a standalone powersource. The probelm is that the best computer that I have, have all PCI and PCI-Express buses upside down, which means that the CPU and one fan is in the way of the GF-Card so it is meant to use a single height card only on that computer. Hmmm. Is there any single height good Graphiccards out there that are less powerhungry?? Damn, that need to be investigated really. :)
