* meeting with the Gib(b)ads, Ancient Dryads and Siblings of the Weed
- the Gib(b)ads have offered potions to take care of the termites if the insects should become a problem
- after agreeing to plant Rotoas into the kitin-tunnels the Ancient Dryads and their botanist Zane Sichio suggested searching for the methods of Gilado Almati to make the Rotoas grow faster

- Gilado Almati presumably lived in 2403 - 2481 AC, was a royal botanist of the Old Kingdom and at older age worked on fast-growing trees to be shaped into royal dwelling trees in the Almati-Woods. When homins vanished and rumors spread that Almati was perhaps an alchemist and was overstepping ethical rules inside his secret underground laboratory, Almati was to be tried; but then the first Great Swarming occurred and Almati vanished
- former General Mezza Triva told some homins about a stele with information about Almati in chilling swamps
- the stele was found and indicated that "secrets" of Almati's work can be found in "the masterpiece of our master's forest ... from the roots to the canopy". A dent in the stele had the shape of an amber-cube

- Mezza Triva had been banned from the kingdom for "high treason". The king's advisor Mephyros Xytis (former Celiakos/senator of Emperor Dexton and called a "traitor" by the Sharük and Akenos of Thesos) refused to reveal any further details to anyone but the (french-speaking) nobles of Avalae only
- the older text of the Stele about Gilado Almati indicates that his real objective was the study of the "roots" (prime-roots or tree-roots?) and that the old botanist Almati could be still alive
* latest events:
When talking to the Rangers in Almati-Wood Ranger Thopsan O'Jorliam and later on Ranger Wilk Potskin confirmed that the Rangers had found remains of what seems to be Almati's old laboratory in the dark mines, where the infected Rangers are being treated by Tao Sian, first physician of the Theocracy. If we want to know more we will have to wait until we can meet with Orphie Dradius though.

(an OOC-note: on August 9th the German community was told via Forums OOC that because of the absence of an Event-Team-member the event Xyphocanthus has to take a break. However the Rangers have continued with expanding their experiments since then and what they did to the chamber of nobles, treating it like it was a completely insignificant institution that means absolutely nothing to the Rangers as long as only the royal court would give permissions, has made some of us take up action again.)
