I found the problem. There were 2 files that were not downloaded correctly... on multiple tries there were 0 byte files. They are just png background images for the side and bottom of a box.
filenames are:
0f4489f0487fa9793be285636fd7c992.cache
9d7893e082b8cdc5560c5ad0774aaadd.cache
GIMP opens those files, optipng and geeqie won't. Maybe a dev can check them and make sure they're valid?
