The "league bug", where you are automagically in a league when you log in needs to be fixed at the SOONEST possible opportunity. We were losing homins while battling the Kitin because bomb heals were not working properly.
If that is not possible, I have a suggestion: Have the event managers set up a League so that all teams working against the Kitin can join.
