log shows that you are unable to connect to su1.ryzom.com on port 5000.
make sure your firewall is not blocking it.
added to the firewall exceptions, the problem remained.

My mistake, it's port 50000. Ryzom does need to be in whitelist for all outgoing connections (login works with tcp, game itself uses udp, ports and ip vary)

I currently can't test if black sceen is infact firewall and that host/port related or not.
