Do you have any additional details? Did you get any error message? You can look into your client.log file for errors, it is located somewhere in C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Ryzom\0\ alias %AppData%\Roaming\Ryzom\0\

Some players before solved troubles with running the client when they have changed a driver in client configuration. I don't remember if for sound or gfx and I am not sure if it will help in your case.

If you are using Ryzom Installer, start it, click Configure button at right bottom corner and try to change Display and/or Sound driver. Maybe it will help... anyone more experienced in Windows client troubles?
