This request comes up with some regularity.
We did have named meks for a while about the time of the server merge. The problem wasn't with the naming process but with the names that *some people* put on their poor meks. It went bad fast.
Personally I think it wonderful that we have the possibility of pets / zigs now.
Totally agree with this, its not possibility problem, just human reaction problem.
