@Spiritguide, I just created my game folder (x:\jeux\ryzom) , as I always do. I copied the 2 7z files.
I let the data file (ryzom_live_data.7z) untouched and I uncompressed ryzom_live_client_win32.7z on the game directory.
Ryzom is doing the job "in-place".
After that I just lauched the client and everything was almost fine. (except my trouble with opengl).
I launched too the patcher : "ryzom_client_patcher.exe" it updated a lot of files (dunno why ... ) but it is working.
The win32 as an another bug under windows xp, not releasing the threads normally, may be because I am using direct 3d ... who knows!
Anyway thank you Seto for the support and good luck to all, soon we will have a stable version !
PS: do not forget to copy your "save" directory from your old version if you want to get back your maps/macros ...
