Mutual GNU / Linux

Ryzom from main site + xUbuntu64 13.10

So, I just tried to make Ryzom work on my laptop on my little trip for x-mas. I remember I had some issues with the one in the software center before, so I decided to download it from the main site instead this time. (7z file). Here is what I did to make it work after downloading:

sudo apt-get install libxxf86vm-dev
./ryzom_update.sh
sudo apt-get install libx11-dev
sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
sudo su -
apt-get update && apt-get install libc6:i386
^D
sudo apt-get install lib32-libstdc++5
sudo apt-get install lib32stdc++6
sudo apt-get install libxrandr2
sudo apt-get install libxrandr-dev
sudo apt-get install libxrandr2:i386

Not sure which of these was needed or not, just posted the whole thing I did. It started working after doing all this, but I can understand one reason why Ryzom might not be as popular as it could have been…
