I agree that the titles are severely broken. Not only event titles are gone, but all WebIG related titles, skill titles as well as diplomatic titles, guild titles, and fame based titles.
I consider it sad when event titles (other than the story teller, which was always limited to half a year or a year) are allowed to expire. They should remain as a lasting reminiscence to nice events we had together, something to tell to newcomers, no less than Elder of Atys or similar.
